Ah, that brings back wonderful memories of 6th grade when I played 'Ado Annie' I kid you not! My understudy was tall and skinny and the costume had to fit us both so I had to roll up the skirt like crazy; it was made by one of the moms who was a professional seamstress so it was fabulous. Totally period piece of pink and white candy stripes with lots of ruffles. Wish I had a picture of it today. The play was quite a hit and we toured the entire school district with a traveling version.
