Pandas (Hart)

I went to the zoo in Washington D.C. and saw giant pandas and a baby panda. The dad was playing and eating bamboo. They eat bamboo fourteen hours a day. The mom and the baby were sleeping. They will have another baby in the summer.

The zoo is practicing conservation by taking back the older panda to China, once the new baby is born.

Best actor in a tragedy

Both boys were getting fidgety in rush hour traffic, as we tried to get a few doctors' appointments in between 5 and 6 p.m. At the crossing of the CTA Yellow Line, Hart had had enough.

"OH, NO! Not the choo-choo!," he lamented.
